MES Presents to the Maui Writer Conference
On the 6th of April, the MES enjoyed the wonderful and unique opportunity to deliver power point presentations on its work in the region and the importance of coral reefs ecosystem to members of the Maui Writers Conference. The group consisted of a mixture of talented men and women with their specific literature writing backgrounds. Apart from presentations by the MES, other organised activities for the literature writing enthusiasts ranged from viewing the diverse nature of coral reef ecosystems through snorkelling to learning about the various terrestrial plants useful for Fijian traditional medicine.
The group spent 3 days at Castaway Resort after completing a one week ‘writer’s conference’ at the Outrigger Resort
